Daffodil Nursery partnership

The nursery team will work with parents as partners in providing quality care for their children and parents are welcome in the nursery at all times. The parent’s notice board will display any relevant information or requests and our regular newsletters will keep you up to date with currents topics and other nursery events. These are usually e mailed.

We have a computer system called Parenta that allows us to send day sheets by e mail at the end of the day.  We also use Footsteps which enables us to send weekly observations to parents/carers and other settings the children may attend.  Parents can access their child’s details by the parent portal, please see Debbie to register for this.

Queries and complaints can usually be dealt with immediately by Room Leaders, but appointments may be made to see the Nursery Manager if required. A copy of our complaints procedure is available on request.

As part of our caring policy, we would ask that once you have accepted a place, that you and your child visit the Nursery several times in order to familiarise yourselves with the nursery and staff.

You will be encouraged to stay until your child is fully settled and happy with us. If at any time during the day you are concerned, you are very welcome to telephone us and talk to your child’s key person for reassurance.
